Sherfield English Recreational Project
SERP 2000 is the umbrella group for everything to do with the Sports Field, which was created from scratch a few years ago. This impressive facility is located on the corner of Steplake Lane and Salisbury Road (A27). In addition to the sports facilities there is an outdoor children's activity area and various events are held throughout the year. The main annual event is a Fun Weekend in August, including Dog & Gardening Shows, but there are many others, such as a Fireworks & Bonfire Night.

A New Pavilion
Yes, after many years of toil we finally have a new pavilion, and how lovely it looks. Now we just have to get the inside completed. The external drainage system has now been completed and SERP are now looking for quotes to complete the two changing room areas as the internal plans and specifications have now been drawn up. Studwork, plasterboarding, plumbing & electrics are required, please contact Marion: mariongreig@btinternet.com if you can help.
Thank you to all those people who support us at the annual Funday. This is a valuable fund raising opportunity, but we cannot hope to raise the required sum to complete the project without more help.
If you can personally help in any way, be it donating unwanted building materials, offering skilled labour, advice or encouragement, we will be delighted to hear from you.
