Village Hall Coronation Event - 'THE BIG HELP OUT'

To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities.

Starting on Monday 8th May there will be opportunities for everyone to join in. No matter what you are good at, there’ll be something to suit helping hands of all shapes and sizes! From checking in on someone who’d like a bit of company or volunteering for a charity the more of us who join in, the bigger help we will be.

If you can spare an hour…fantastic. The day?…amazing. If it becomes a regular thing, so much the better. If we all do a bit, it will really help a lot.

Help us to do something amazing. Join in, lend a hand. Make a change

Monday 8thMay (or any other time) to carry out routine maintenance tasks.

We also very much welcome anyone who would just like to drop in for a chat

(or a spot of washing up J )

Home made cakes & drinks available all day.

The plan for the day is to prepare the outside of the building for re-painting/treatment OR if the weather is poor we will retreat inside and do some cleaning/mildew scrubbing & some internal redecorating of the toilet block.

Enjoy plumbing then we have a couple of jobs for you too!

Please come in old clothes/overalls and bring some appropriate tools with you. If you would prefer to use electric tools for sanding please bring your own RCD protected extension lead suitable for external use.
